Rossio loves helping people feel like the best version of themselves through hair that’s healthy, expressive, and easy to live in. She’s especially passionate about curls and natural texture, but enjoys working with all hair types to create styles that suit each client’s personality and lifestyle. For Rossio, doing hair is about creating a space where people feel seen and cared for. She specializes in curly textures and loves helping clients reconnect with what makes their hair unique. Outside the salon, she enjoys live music, video games, D&D, journaling, and reading tarot for inspiration.
Natural Curl Artist & Balayage Specialist
Specialties: Julie specializes in brunette balayage, lived-in color, and voluminous, rounded cuts. She works with tight curl patterns, waves, and everything in between.
Bio: Julie was inspired to follow in her grandmother’s footsteps and become a hairstylist. Julie is a social butterfly and loves working with clients who are dedicated to learning how to care for their hair.
Scalp health is her number one priority in caring for her clients hair to help them grow healthy and strong strands. Through the use of moisturizing mask treatments, Julie enjoys revitalizing damaged curls and restoring them to their natural glory.
Her favorite part of the job is learning and caring for everyone’s unique hair texture.
Massage Therapist
I believe that every aspect of a person can benefit from receiving massage therapy.
My mission as a licensed massage therapist is to treat every individual according to their specific needs. Each client should expect a customized healing massage. I practice a blend of techniques including but not limited to: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Myofascial Release, Prenatal, Relaxation and Hot Stone. With my educational training, therapeutic touch, knowledge, and intuition I provide relief of pain, diminish muscle tension, improve flexibility, ease stress, and reduce anxiety. My clients should always expect professional and safe bodywork. I am committed to my personal growth and continuing education as a massage therapist. Massage is a great way to help one achieve a healthier lifestyle. It can create a sense of calm and well being, while maintaining relief of aches and pains in the body.

Gua Sha is a traditional Chinese massage modality. It’s very gentle, reduces puffiness in the eyes and face, reduces fine lines and softens deep wrinkles, tightens and brightens the skin, promotes circulation and blood flow. Thai Herbal Poultice is created of a blend of tightly packed Thai herbs that is steamed and used to loosen the muscles, lift and contour the face and promote lymphatic drainage. These two combined create the ultimate lifting facial.

Specialties: Ashley specializes in naturally curly cuts, hand painted curls, and vivid color.
Bio: Ashley knew she wanted to be a hairstylist since she was twelve years old. She never knew she had curly hair until she saw a curly hair specialist.
Now, Ashely rocks her natural curls and hopes to help others discover their hair texture as a curly hair specialist. Ashley loves being someone that her clients can trust to care for their curls and teach them how to do their hair at home.
Her favorite part of her job is meeting new people and getting to know them through their stories.

Bio: Luci first visited Midtown Curls when she was 11. Ever since she was taught how to love and care for her own curls, she knew she wanted to become a curly hairstylist. She recently graduated from beauty school and is now on the path to becoming a curly hair specialist at Midtown Curls. She loves working with all curl textures especially tighter curls. Luci also offers braiding services to her clients. She is a great listener and loves meeting new people and helping them discover their curly potential.
Salon Owner, Organic Educator, and Stylist
Specialties: Anna specializes in curly cuts with big rounded shapes, shag cuts, and more. She also created the coveted painted curls technique which is a lived-in, balayage style of coloring designed to enhance the beauty and dimension of each curl.
Bio: Anna was inspired to open Reno’s pioneer curly salon after discovering she had wavy hair. She saw a need to create a safe space for people to embrace and learn about their natural hair texture.
Anna prioritizes education for her clients to feel confident caring and styling their natural hair at home so she offers curly coaching with every service. She loves creating curly cuts with life and movement that matches the unique spirit and hair type of every one of her special clients.
Clean beauty is a priority for Anna to care for and repair damaged hair. She is an Innersense Organic Beauty educator and travels around the country teaching others the magic of curl care and styling.
Her favorite part of her job is the laughter, stories, and relationships in the salon bonding over the mutual love of curly and wavy hair.
